Hi, my beautiful watchers and non-watchers as well!

I have decided to do a drawing battle. It will be me against you. Don't worry if someone signed in before you. I can draw for a lot of people. If too many people sign in, I'll tell them to wait until I finish the current battles. But I don't think many people will do it, so don't worry.

You don't need to watch me if you don't want to. I'll send you a note when I publish my participation so you don't have to check my account every day.

How to participate?

  • First of all, comment on this deviation saying you want to participate. This deviation will be updated so you can see the list of people doing this and in which step of the battle they are.
  • The battle takes as many steps as the participants want to. You can retire at any moment you want.
  • There's no official winner, because we have no judges (unless someone else wants to act as a judge). The thing is that we have fun, look at each other's art, comment each other and maybe make good friends, who knows?
  • When you comment that you want to participate, I'll give you a prompt. The prompt can be either a title (of a song, of a poem, of a book, of a movie, etc. in which the drawing has to be based) or it can be an idea (not TOO detailed, just an idea, two or three words).
  • A title prompt would be:
"Bring me to life", by Evanescence. (You have to draw something based on the lyrics of that song or a concept art, something about that song.)
Or:
"Harry Potter", by J. K. Rowling. (You have to draw something based on that book, any scene or character you want, or a concept art... anything related to that book.)
  • An idea would be:
Warrior. (You have to draw anything that has a relation with that word.)
Or:
A princess fighting the dragon. (A bit more detailed, but still with room for imagination. Try not to give something TOO detailed, as this is precisely about imagination, not a commission.)
  • Your drawing can be as simple or complex as you want, but you have to put your heart in it. Remember, it's a drawingbattle. You have to give your best. If you are not willing to do your best, then don't enter the battle. There will be no point on it.
  • After you publish the drawing you made using the first prompt I gave you, you let me know and I'll go and see it and obviously give you a comment. You must reply to the comment by giving me a title or an idea to make a drawing. Now it'll be my turn to do it, publish it and let you know. And you'll have to see it, comment it, and I'll reply to your comment by giving you a different prompt. And so on, until any of us wants to end the game.
  • The drawings can be any genre, any style, with any technique, excepting erotic. You can be suggestive, but not more than that. We are not here to see porn.

This sounds fun! I would like to ‘battle’ with you, if you’re alright with that?
