I'm planning to become a published author... Someday. I'm writing for now. I've been writing since I was a child. Being a writer has always been my goal. And now being a paid artist could be another goal. Who knows...

—Somewhere between 1898 and 1902—
The alley signed Pier 17 was empty that night. The walls were covered in posters, plastered with old newspapers’ front pages. “1865. Lincoln shot.” “He did his duty. Will you? Join for active service. Land and sea. U.S. Marines” “1863. The Conscript Bill! How to avoid it!! U.S. Navy. 1,000 men wanted for 12 months!”
A shop window let anyone see the decorated boxes and figures displayed inside; the golden uppercase letters printed on the glass read “NEW YORK MUSIC BOX”.

“Holy sh—”
I stopped mid-word because what was happening was far from just a “holy shit”. I needed something stronger; I didn’t have the time though, because that thing was already running towards me. The other person was on the floor, unconscious or dead. Probably the latter. There was too much blood painting the white tiles for that poor person to be alive.
I turned around and ran. Luckily, the supermarket was almost empty so I didn’t find any obstacles. Except maybe that pyramid of glass jars that— CRASH!
Sorry, supermarket staff. I’d pay for that later if I survived.

I obtained written permission from the official Mr. Sunshine Netflix page to turn the TV show into a book. It'll be fanfiction work, obviously, and Netflix has nothing to do with it. It won't be out for sale and it won't be published traditionally. You will be able to find it here on DA, in www.wattpad.com and www.fanfiction.net both in Spanish and English.
I fell in love with Mr. Sunshine more than I have ever fell for any other TV series. Writing it will be a dream come true, and besides, I want to see how hard/easy is to turn something in a screen into words. Styles are different for sure!
